Escravos GTL
To provide High Mast lighting at Escravos GTL, a Chevron Gas-to-Liquids plant located about 100km southeast of Lagos, Nigeria. It was designed and built by KBR in 2008 - 2010 as part of a joint venture with JGC Corporation and Snamprotti. Final completion was in 2014.
At its peak production, Escravos GTL produces 34,000 barrels per day of premium grade, environmentally friendly diesel and naptha products plus a small amount of LPG for export.
Solutions
CU Phosco and Fine Ex Lamps (Fine Ex Lamps represent CU Phosco in the USA) worked closely with KBR to prepare lighting schemes and mast designs for this project. This input resulted in Fine Ex Lamps and CU Phosco being awarded the supply of the High Mast lighting for this project.
CU Phosco supplied 15 no. 30 metre High Masts each holding up to 20 no. Phosco FL444 1000W SON-T floodlights in symmetrical and asymmetrical arrangements to Escravos to the lighting scheme previously prepared, on time and to budget.
